Dr. Iryna Arute Psy.D., LCP

I am passionate about creating calming spaces that foster transformation and healing from life’s deepest wounds.

Integrated and welcoming: My therapeutic style

There is no place out-of-bounds in a therapy session. All of your experiences and feelings are trailheads to a healing path. My desire is to meet with you for a season of healing, not forever, to dive deep at your pace so you can experience your life to the fullest.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and an IFS therapist with 15+ years of expertise in the clinical field. I work with mood disorders, anxiety, complex trauma, food and poor body image issues, grief, prenatal and postpartum issues, identity/self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, religious/spiritual uncertainty and religious trauma. I am also experienced in working with individuals with chronic illness and Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs).

As someone whose identity has emerged from two strikingly different cultures (Ukrainian and American), I have a special appreciation for the multicultural forces that affect our thinking, emotions, and behavior. Therapeutically, I assume a humble posture before the diversity of human experiences. I strive to create a space where everyone’s uniqueness can be acknowledged and treated with deep respect.

I love helping other healers with their entrepreneurial dreams

No matter how much we excel in training to become skilled and effective therapists, lacking business savvy can be our downfall. If we don't pair our passion for healing with business expertise, we risk both frustration and potential failure. It doesn’t have to be this way.

When I began my first wellness practice in 2016, I realized the power of my innate giftset of being people-oriented and administratively skilled. Watching so many talented colleagues struggle without this combination has fueled my work to support other healers so they can thrive in their life’s work. The best influence we can make as entrepreneur-healers can only happen when we are less stressed with administration, don’t have to worry about financial survival, and thus have more energy to pour into our clients. Together, we can declutter, set goals, identify issues, think creatively, and grow your practice so you can thrive while using your gifts to serve your clients.

On a personal note…

I live with my husband, who is also a therapist, and our two kids in west Chicagoland. I am as human as you are, journeying through life with all of its ups and downs, striving to live as authentically and intentionally as possible, and needing grace and forgiveness along the way.

When I am not with clients, starting another business, or helping others do the same, you can find me seeking or creating beautiful things. From curating interior spaces, nurturing a garden, or cooking food, I appreciate the atmospheres that give life to the soul. I enjoy theater, reading a good book, playing a board game with my kids, and learning Italian. And if you can’t find me in any of those places – I am almost certainly outside soaking in the peace and beauty of the natural world.

I am here to join you on the Healing Pathway. Let’s connect to find out what your path looks like and where it will lead your one beautiful life.
